Death Race the Year of Betrayal

2011 was the first year that I heard about the Death Race. I also know a couple of people that participated in the 2011 race. Hearing their stories about what they had to endure, peeked my interest to see what the Death Race is all about. It sounded challenging from physically to mentally. Then by doing some research reading and seeing the videos it was confirmed. You have to be strong, motivated, and dedicated to continue on a journey such as the Death Race. I know this race will require a lot of hard work, training, and dedication. Which I am committed in doing to pre pare myself for this journey.

The Death Race for me would be a great opportunity to see what I have and what it will take to finish the race. I am a Marine and have been out of the Corps since 2005. While being in the Corps, there were times where I was challenged on many levels. I love being able to overcome challenges whether my attempt is successful or not. From every challenge you learn something new. Since getting out I have ran half marathons, full marathons, and participated in many other races. I am looking for something that will challenge me to my fullest capabilities and beyond. I believe that is exactly what the Death Race will offer and a whole lot more.
