Death Race – Josh Willins Howell, NJ & his girlfriend Katy McCabe Ellicot City, Md will be participating in a 48hr Adventure Race/ Obstacle Race titled “The Death Race”, in Pittsfield, Vt. the 2nd week of June 2012. A race that is meant for the physically fit, mentally sound & slightly crazy athletes of the world in which the tasks of the race & how long each will take, is only revealed as the race begins and progress over 48hrs continues. We both will be raising awareness and funds to support the International Medical Corps (IMC), which is a charity that we both hold in high regard. IMC dispatches teams across the world to provide the locals of a disaster the tools and knowledge to provide and aid themselves beyond the crisis at hand. Teachers, Doctors, and volunteers provide community based health care, training, and education for the general public of these areas. Our goals are to bring awareness to this charity and to complete the 48 test of mental and physical grit, a test to which only less than 10% usually finish.
